About Me
I was born and bred in Glasgow, Scotland 1981, and recently graduated with a First Class Honours BA degree in Creative and Professional Writing, from the University of Glamorgan.
I enjoy travelling when money permits, but mostly I love writing.
I write fiction, humorous non-fiction and poetry. I enjoy writing in the persona of a Glaswegian, which can be a lot of fun. But also, I like to get into the minds of other people, many times taking on a persona which some may find uncomfortable.
For every piece I write which makes someone laugh, I’ll write something which is disturbing yet relevant. I just hope that whatever I write, is recognised as being from my soul. It may not speak the words I think (i.e. my own opinion) – indeed, often it does not – but I have put my everything into it.
I’m new to this field, but given time I’ll get there. I leave you with the words which sum up my outlook on writing and life, taken from Colin Turner’s Made For Life. It is not part of the main text, more a supplementary to the overall context of the story. Enjoy and take care!

“For every then, there is a now,
To delight in beauty, witness grotesque,
To reach height, understand depth,
To recognise full, first meet empty,
For every quest, a why and how,
Then believe,
with death, comes Life
And with Faith, fulfilment.”
Lookig good Mr Qualls. Keep up the good work
